For counsel

Privacy & security

Discovery files are confidential, often privileged, and always the client’s. This page is the short version of how ChatEQ is built so that remains true.

Matter isolation

Each matter is its own workspace. Client A’s documents are never stored, mounted, or classified next to Client B’s. The product is a container. The matter is a volume. Volumes are not shared.

Encryption

Military-grade encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Originals are never mutated. Production, if it happens, is still the native files the firm already holds.

No training on client files

Your documents are not used to train ChatEQ models. Model providers are selected for paid, zero-retention API options. If the firm requires an existing AWS or GCP agreement, review runs on Bedrock or Vertex.

Fail closed

No intake document hits a model until the firm’s NDA and provider sign-off are in place. Counsel protocol files are converted only after that green light. A premature drop cannot silently start classify.

chateq.com is a static marketing site. It does not collect account information or host client files. If you email us, we use that correspondence to respond and to discuss a possible engagement — not to train models.
